November 2025 – Dust Control and Fit Testing

The Ayrshire Safety Group was pleased to welcome Fred Charlton from RPE2Fit as the guest speaker at our November meeting. Fred delivered an informative and engaging presentation on dust control and fit testing, highlighting the essential role of effective respiratory protective equipment (RPE) in maintaining workplace health and safety.

During the session, Fred outlined best practices, common challenges, and practical steps organisations can take to ensure proper fit testing and reduce exposure to hazardous dust. His insights were highly relevant to many of our members and encouraged thoughtful discussion throughout the meeting.
